Missing Vehicle

If, when you click on "Enter Vehicle", you cannot find an existing vehicle, there are several things you can try.  First, try changing the "Vehicles to Display" in the top right corner from "Inventory" to "All".

If the vehicle you are searching for was traded in, you need to make sure that when you enter the trade-in information, you check the box next to "Check here to add vehicle to inventory file". If this box was not checked originally at the time of the sale, you would need to cancel the sale and save it as a prospect.  Then retrieve the prospect, click on Enter Trade-In, and make sure that the box next to "Check here to add vehicle to inventory file" is checked.  For help cancelling a sale and retrieving a prospect, click on Changing Information After A Sale.

If the vehicle you are searching for was a vehicle that you have repossessed, the vehicle will not be returned to your inventory until you have processed a write-off for that customer.  If you want to add a vehicle back to inventory when processing a write-off, make sure to check the box next to "Check if vehicle was returned".  Once that is checked, a new check box will appear, labeled "Check to add vehicle back to inventory".  Be sure to check that box, and once the write-off is processed, the car will be added back into your inventory.

If you still cannot find a vehicle you are looking for, feel free to give us a call and hopefully we can help you locate the runaway vehicle.
